Final Ideas

The top two images are the images i have chosen to replicate in my final.
Both of the images that  i want to use are quite similar, they both include a light haired model against a white back drop.
Props will be need for the first image such as a cigarette and a t-shirt with logo.
The second image will just need text to be added on in photoshop.
All of these photographs are tightly framed around the model, meaning there isnt much space/background around them.

Reproducing a picture

We now have two weeks to reproduce a famous photograph or a photograph of our choice.

3D Images

This task helped us to create 3D images using Photoshop.

Firstly we started by opening an image and duplicated the layer.
After that i pressed "Image", "Adjustments" and "Levels".

Then i will select red and change both outputs to 0.
After that i will select the select layer and do the same to the green and blue levels.

This is my final image.

I found that some images looked more effective / 3D than others depending on what the picture was taken of and how dark the image was.

"Frozen in Time Berlin"

Below are some examples of 3D photographs. They were taken with a 3D camera different to how we had to manipulate our images on photoshop to make them have a 3D effect.

Seung Woo Back.

Seung Woo Back is a artist who is famous for her interesting art work. Her work shows well-known landmarks from all over the world, being placed in unlikely and unfamiliar landscapes. I really enjoy looking at Woo Back's work as i feel it has been manipulated remarkably, it is hardly noticeable that the landmarks are out of place.
She tries hard to make the landmarks fit in well with the surroundings and the landscapes she has chosen, in this picture i think the greenland and park-like area fits well with the eiffel tower.
I also think that the colours have been dimed

Seung Woo Back.

Seung Woo Back is famous for her interesting art work. She has manipulated her images by introducing famous buildings into unfamiliar surroundings. Most of her images seem to look surprisingly realistic such this image, i think the trees and other greenland work well with the eiffel tower.

Introduction To Part 2 Of Task.

For the assignment, we have a total of six weeks to complete the second part of the digital task. At the end of the six weeks we must have a minimum of one final that has been digitally manipulated using Photoshop. We will complete three Photoshop Workshops during the six week period, throughout the project we must focus strongly on researching at least 6 artists/photographers. This assignment is the same as the previous unit which is 34.
 Aims;
- To understand how image manipulation are used through the work of others.
- Be able to present own design outcomes
- Be able to digitise source materials
- Use manipulation software and hardware
