Duane Michals.

Are your image/images and Duane Michals both in colour or black and white?
my four images are in colour, i left them in colour as i think the vibrant greens and autumn leaves give a very warm feeling. On the other hand, Duane's photographs look more proffesional in black and white, the tones and shadows are very strong. If i was to re-edit my images i experiment with black and white to see if monochrome has the same effect on my images.

Are your image/images and Duane Michals part of a series of individual images?
Both mine and Michal's photographs create a series in which the movement used in the images is continuous. However as i had fewer images than Duane used, my images do not seem to flow unlike his.

Are your image/images and Duane Michals both large or small?
Our images are similar sizes, my images seem to be bigger as there are fewer of them. Also my images seem larger as i have included a thin, black border unlike Michal's who has not included

Dwayne Michals.

Cropping.

i cropped my images and made them bigger.

Making a new file.

To make a new file i had to select file, new and then choose 'international paper' and the size of the paper. Also making sure that the resolution is at 300 to ensure that the quality is at its highest.

Format/Saving.

There are 3 different formats that we have been told to use. JPEG is for saving experiments, TIFF is the best format to use for final images and Photoshop is used if you are only using one computer. It is important to remember that JPEG compresses images, which loses the image quality, where as the other two keep the image size/file at its highest quality.

File Name.

To change the file name, you must click the file name twice and then edit it.
